Aglianico is certainly the most illustrious and famous red grape of Southern Italy. It has very ancient origins and today it produces a very structured wine which retains its consistency even over the years.<\/p>\n

Aglianico, wide spread in its territorial variants mainly in Campania and Basilicata, prefers volcanic soils and finds its maximum expression in Irpinia with the production of Aglianico DOC and there now evolution, Taurasi DOCG.<\/p>\n

Aglianico DOC is a young and fruity wine but excellent acidity and great tannin, it is noted for a strong character and intense flavour.<\/p>\n

Sertura produces Aglianico DOC in compliance with a pure vinification, implementing a maceration and fermentation at a controlled temperature of 22\u00b0-25\u00b0 C.<\/p>\n

The average duration of the fermentation phase is between 21 and 25 days.<\/p>\n
